Around the world now focused primarily on African countries to the evolution of technological capabilities such as Ghana and other West African countries, cyber-criminals in online focus funds dedicated time and resources to carry out the fraud – and they are very skilled at this process of penetration of financial institutions, banks, businesses, governments of mission critical infrastructure moving cities to countries. The result has been a dramatic increase of online fraud that specifically targets consumers, businesses and citizens. Any breach of data or costly identity theft case continued unabated and unreported erodes public confidence in the safety of outlets and other online financial transactions. This loss of confidence jeopardizes the ability of organizations to make online transactions more effectively with the patronage and profitability in particular in Africa.
